How long does a scan take?▾
Most single-store scans complete in under 10 seconds. A 100-store batch typically finishes in 90 seconds or less.
Why is my scan not finding emails?▾
Some stores genuinely don't expose contact emails publicly. EcomScout scans homepage, footer, /contact, /pages/contact, /privacy, /policies and Shopify JSON endpoints — if it's there, we'll find it.
Are the social handles accurate?▾
Yes. We canonicalize every URL to the actual profile page (e.g., instagram.com/handle/) and filter out reels, posts, and invalid paths.
Can I send Instagram or TikTok DMs from EcomScout?▾
Yes — we generate personalised messages for every prospect and let you copy them with one click. Real automated IG/TT sending is being evaluated due to platform restrictions.
Does Premium auto-renew?▾
No. Premium is a 30-day plan. When it expires, your account reverts to free and you can choose to resubscribe — no surprise charges, ever.
How do I cancel?▾
Just don't resubscribe when your 30 days end. Your account stays active on the free tier, your scan history is preserved.
Do you store my SMTP password?▾
Yes, but it is encrypted at rest and never exposed in any API response. We use it strictly to send emails on your behalf when you launch a campaign.
Can I export my data?▾
Yes. Every scan can be exported to CSV. Premium users also get bulk export across all scans.
